My Fiancé Nhi and I are having an adventure of a lifetime sailing our new Seawind 1250 “Northstar” . After picking her up last September from Nha Trang, Vietnam we have been exploring some of the most beautiful tropical waters South East Asia has to offer. Koh Chang, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore we have seen it all. Our most recent trip took us from Terengganu in the Gulf of Thailand right round to Langkawi, Mallaysia a beautiful remote paradise on the Andaman Sea just south of Phuket, Thailand where we are headed next.
Sailing with my Fiancé two up has been so easy on the 1250. All the sheets are at our fingertips allowing the two of us to comfortably cruise from the cockpit. Sailing with some of my mates has also been a real highlight of this experience. How often do you get to hang out with some of your best mates for 1- 2 weeks at a time? (this hasn’t happened since school!). Some of the best times we have had has actually been doing passage runs with these guys on-board for the journey. For our next adventure we are all looking forward to sailing the Mediterranean on the new Seawind 1600.
