PRODUCTION UPDATE #6
After completing the infusion process of the hull, we have moved hull #1 from our lamination facility and set it up in stage one of the assembly area. As we are still producing many small plugs and molds this area is currently used for both assembly and development however will eventually be dedicated to assembly of the hull and internals. The first major assembly tasks are now complete, including: adding secondary bulkheads and reinforcements, align, glue and glass all 4 molded furniture components, glassing and flowcoating of fwd lockers is complete and we have begun preparing for the installation of tanks and engines.
You can take a closer look at the current progress in this gallery.

RESIN INFUSION
We have been telling you that our 1370 is a lightweight and nimble boat, however, we believe a picture is worth a thousand words and a video might be even better. Therefore, our Seawind team with the lamination manager, Danny Searle, will take you through the infusing process with a detailed explanation of how the boat is being built via this Youtube video.

PRODUCTION UPDATE #004
It's been a good month since we last updated you on the production of Hull #1. This month, we are coming back with some updates and interesting topics on our 1370 project. In the last update, we showed you the hull mold which had been taken off the plug. We have since finished cutting back the mold surface, sealing and waxing. Today we have moved the mold to our factory and will now be working through the early composite processes.
