Last week, Bayview based Smart Boating took delivery of their brand new Seawind 1000XL. Named XLR8 this luxuriously appointed boat is available for bareboat yacht charter on Pittwater for 12 by day and 8 overnight or can take up to 20 passengers for skippered cruises.

Smart Boatings owner, David Biddle, was handed the keys for XLR8 by Seawinds Brenton Mahoney at their new purpose built marina facility at Black Wattle Bay. It was also here that David and his team are preparing the boat ready for its first charter on Pittwater starting on January 2nd. The boat is optioned with the hardtop extension, now fitted as standard to the XL2, a DVD player, Raymarine touchscreen navigation instruments, helm seats plus of course a comprehensive on-board inventory which also includes a 3.1m RIB tender with a 5HP 4-stroke outboard.

David is delighted with his purchase, saying of XLR8 "we are delighted to be placing this vessel in our bareboat charter fleet on Pittwater.
