You have been such an important part of making this all happen for us. I also want to thank you and the team for the support and help to date. It has been an amazing effort despite all the challenges of Covid, continuously adjusting plans and hugely appreciated.

Seawind’s commitment to on going improvement, listening to customers, and build quality is impressive. Having sailed both “charter” cats and Seawinds, the difference is night and day. I understand the appeal of condo-cats at anchor but the sacrifice in build quality & performance are not worth the incremental comfort gain.

I just took my 1190 for it’s first sail on the replaced daggerboard (and after other fiberglass repairs). I couldn’t be happier. Robin did an incredible job. His attention to detail is unmatched. The new daggerboard fits tighter than even the original, yet slides just as easily as before. I am relatively new to the Seawind community, but I would just like to say, your product AND customer service has been amazing. Keep up the great work!

Amazing living area. This 41-ft catamaran creates an even greater sense of space through clever design… like those doors. Complete 360-degree visibility, and being outside, and not being wet… It’s impressive.

I would like to compliment Seawind for their willingness to endulge me with customizations that might make some sailors cringe. In particular, installing 140 hp (rather than the 40hp that is standard) on their 39’ performance catamaran (the 1190 sport), and weighting it down with so many options (diesel generator, 3 fuel tanks, two air conditioners, induction stove, customized aft rail system to store scuba tanks, a 15hp dingy, 800W of solar, radar, extra chain, throttles at both helms, rigged more like a cutter than a typical cat, vinyl wrapped, etc). In the end, I have what I want. Having purchased enough boats that I fully expected months of troubleshooting, I am pleased to report almost no issues upon delivery. For those interested in a new catamaran, I highly recommend considering a Seawind. Also, for those sailers who don't look at power cats with distain, now that Seawind is familiar with installing 140hp on an 1190 (basically the same as the 1160 lite), there finally exists a motorsailer that is also capable of winning regattas -- best of both worlds in my opinion -- although maybe I should keep it a secret since I like being able to pass literally every other boat that has a mast :)

The boat sails fantastic - the Istec parasail professionals all made a big deal about the boat - the best sailing production cat they ever sailed!

I singlehanded the entire sail all day - beam reach 90 deg to 90 deg - their comment “she sails like a monohull with all the benefits of a cat”

Michelle and I love our new 1260 and have been sailing her every chance we get. I wanted to say that I had high expectations of the 1260 and she has exceeded those, which is very impressive. I'm fairly certain that "MOONGLIDER" made me look more accomplished as a sailor than I actually am at the Pittwater regatta, which speaks volumes about this boat.

Our boat is a Seawind 1160. The name of the vessel is JOLLYDOGS. The 1160 absolutely nailed the measures requirements for us. It’s big enough, strong enough and it’s built to go to sea. And we have no concerns about taking it around the world. It’s the best compromise of full-time liveaboard and great boat to sail.

Dear Richard, Mike and Brent,
I am writing to let you all know how much we are enjoying The Pearl, our Seawind 1160 Lite, that we have owned for just over 6 months.
As you know this is our third Seawind, having previously owned 2 x Seawind 1000’s.
The design, from top to bottom is amazing, with exceptionally functional layout and fittings, some great sailing minds have obviously been engaged.
The sailing performance has exceeded my expectations, regularly sailing at 7.5kn in light conditions, and handling easily in the stronger more exciting winds, regularly touching the 10+kn.
The finish also exceeds our expectations, with great attention to detail noted in some complicated shapes and junctions. We love the modern and lightweight finish.
The Pearl is a great credit to you all, we look forward to many years of happy charterers and some great sailing adventures of our own.
What would we change: nothing!!

Thank you to everyone at Seawind, particularly our contact Van, we are so pleased with the boat & the finishes & she sails like a dream!

Our Seawind 1160, Pied-a-Mer III, is our home, 24/7/365. It has taken us from British Columbia, Canada to Mexico, across the Pacific through French Polynesia to Australia and New Zealand. Almost 30,000 nm in seven years.
She is masterfully built not just for comfort, but also for safety. In fact safety was the reason we bought her. We are both in our 70's, so safety and ease of sailing are pretty important. And we expect to spend many more years sailing her.

We sailed this boat in less than 3 knots of breeze but still made far better than 2 knots of boat speed. So it’s a boat that really moves. It has daggerboards, the rudders are in cartridges, and it has a pair of outboards that tip up, so it’s easily beachable. I think it’s going to be a very fun boat for people who love to sail

We are enjoying the sailing and ease of self tacking on the 1160 Resort. I am still amazed and surprised at the sailing ability of the vessel even with 30 people on board. It is a great vessel.

To my surprise the factory is actually a significant improvement over my past experiences with boat production, the site is very well laid out with separate, assemble sheds, and supported by a high quality workforce of Expats and locally trained staff. They take real pride in their work and the attention to detail on the finer finishing of key aspects within the boat are of a very high standard.

Buying my third Seawind was not a difficult decision to make. I think they are a great Catamaran combining a perfect compromise between sailing performance and cruising liveability. Well built with awesome ventilation, shade and a great steering position make for easy single handed sailing. They offer great factory support and over 30 years’ of multihull experience.

Choosing a Seawind for a cruising catamaran vs. other builders was quite a process for us. In doing research, the happiest owners and the ones most satisfied with after-sale support, hands down, goes to Seawind.
